Spitzackerpromenade, 4103 Bottmingen

The Quartierflohmarkt Bottmingen spreads across the Spitzacker neighbourhood on the Bruderholz hill in Bottmingen, just outside Basel, for one Sunday a year. Private residents set up stalls in their gardens, courtyards, and driveways across the district — follow the balloons to find them all. A quieter, greener setting than the city-centre editions, with the relaxed atmosphere of a residential suburb opening its doors for the day. One of 17 neighbourhood flea markets organised across Basel and surrounding municipalities by Verein Stadtprojekt throughout the season.
