The Quartierflohmarkt Innerstadt brings Basel's historic city centre to life for one Sunday a year. Private residents set up stalls in courtyards and hidden corners across the Innerstadt — follow the balloons to find them. The main gathering point is Münsterplatz, where a community flea market runs alongside food stands and live puppet theatre from the Basler Marionetten Theater. A dedicated children's flea market runs at the nearby primary school on Peterskirchplatz. The most central and scenic edition of the Quartierflohmi series, set against Basel's medieval rooftops. One of 17 neighbourhood flea markets organised across Basel by Verein Stadtprojekt throughout the season.
