Rue Saint-Joseph, 1227 Carouge

The charming Italianate neighbourhood of Carouge — often described as Geneva's most characterful quarter — hosts this monthly brocante on the first Sunday from March through December. The market occupies the lovely Place du Marché, surrounded by the neighbourhood's distinctive 18th-century arcaded townhouses. A more relaxed and curated alternative to Plainpalais, and a great excuse to explore Carouge's independent restaurants and boutiques.
