Lehenmatt, 4052 Basel

The Quartierflohmarkt Lehenmatt turns the Lehenmatt neighbourhood in Basel into an open-air flea market for one Sunday a year. Private residents set up stalls in front of their homes, in gardens and courtyards across the district — follow the balloons to find them all. A quiet residential corner of Basel that rarely gets a second look from visitors, opened up for a day of secondhand browsing and neighbourhood discovery. One of 17 neighbourhood flea markets organised across Basel by Verein Stadtprojekt throughout the season.
